Description
Spun using only extra fine Australiam Merino by the renowned Zegna Baruffa, which has produced its yarn in Biella, Italy since 1928. Biella’s heritage in wool-making dates back well over 800 years. A proprietary wash yileds its patented “cashwool” hand. Thus named since its as soft as cashmere, but with the strength of merino.
This beanie is made in the USA on a circular knitting machine, allowing for a completely seamless construction. The charcoal black melange yarn has a slight heathery look. Finished with a black leather Franco label.
This is the ideal beanie, versatile enough for a strenous backcountry tour or a day of storm riding at the resort. But its knit light enough for active wear in all 4 seasons. It can handle just about any condition thrown at it and may be worn cuffed for added warmth, though its not overly deep. As its made from pure merino, it will stretch out over time and return to its original shape after each wash.
